We lost two of our dog babies over the last year. Not a day goes by that I don't think of them. Sometimes I can talk about them without shedding a tear. Most times I can't.
About a week after we had to say goodbye to Casper, I stood in horror as I watched a precious little brown dog get run over and killed by a car. This happened as kids were walking to school. One little boy in particular refused to leave the dogs side. A kind stranger who worked for the nearby dog pound pulled over and carried his lifeless body away. For days afterward the little boy would holler across the street "How's the puppy?" The first few times I hollered "I'm not sure but I think he's okay!" After about day 5 I told the child flat out that the pup was doing great.
That brings me to Etsy for Animals http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=524180 An Etsy street team dedicated to raising money and awareness about our less fortunate animal friends.
to enjoy the unique goodies.
Maybe you are an Etsy seller yourself who didn't know this group existed? Now you do. Think about becoming part of the Etsy for Animals street team.
So in honor of my sweethearts Casper and Marley, the little nameless dog who died on the street and all the gentle souls that are lost, wandering and in need of a whole bunch of love, I dedicate this post.
